Specular Contrast Source
Hoffman’s LS-65-GF

OVERVIEW
The LS-65-GF is a 6-inch integrating sphere with a 1.5mm layer of BaSO4 coating pumped by a high-stability quartz lamp.
The lamp is mounted in a housing which provides both shielding of the lamp to prevent stray light and heat sinking to protect the operator. The lamp housing contains a precision adjuster that controls the amount of light entering the sphere. The flux field at the exit port of the sphere is uniform and independent of the field of view. The exit port is approximately 45mm in diameter, and comes with a seal to avoid contamination of the coating when not in use.
KEY FEATURES
- 1.5mm layer of BaSO4 coating
- High-stability quartz lamp
Reliability
- High stability quartz lamp
- Comes with a seal to avoid contamination of the coating

Variable Flux Source
Hoffman’s LS-65-GS

OVERVIEW
The LS-65-GS is a 6-inch integrating sphere with a 1.5mm layer of BaSO4 coating pumped by a high-stability quartz lamp.
The lamp is mounted in a housing which provides both shielding of the lamp to prevent stray light and heat sinking to protect the operator. Under the lamp housing is a micrometer-driven aperture controls the amount of light entering the sphere. The flux field at the exit port of the sphere is highly uniform and independent of the field of view. The exit port is approximately 45mm in diameter, and comes with a cover to avoid contamination of the coating when not in use.

Luminance/Radiance Standard
Microprocessor-Controlled Instrument

OVERVIEW
Hoffman Engineering’s LS-65-8E is a self-contained Calibration Standard for Luminance, Radiance, and Correlated Colour Temperature.
This microprocessor-controlled instrument offers precise control of luminance from 0 to 2000 footlamberts and correlated colour temperature from 1800 to 3100 Kelvins. As with all Hoffman products, this unique design offers N.I.S.T. traceability. Our temperature-stabilized detector array assures high precision in fluctuating ambient environments. The micrometer-driven aperture provides precise linear control of luminance levels without affecting colour temperature.
